The College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS) held its On-Boarding and Student Orientation Program on August 19, 2026, spearheaded by the CCIS faculty and facilitated by the College of Computing and Information Sciences Student Local Government (CCISLSG).
The orientation provided students with essential information to help them navigate the academic year. Given an overview of CCIS at large, the introduction of the CCIS faculty, College-wide Safe Space Code and PADI orientation, Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) and Program Outcomes (POs), curriculum, academic policies, and college facilities, followed by an open forum where students were given the opportunity to raise questions and concerns.
The program served as an opportunity to welcome students and help them begin the academic year with a better understanding of the CCIS community and the values it upholds.
